My name is Usama, and I am web engineer. I love code and design and have about a decade of experience in web development.

Currently, I'm working with Heartbeat-Med, a health-tech firm that is attempting to make healthcare better for everyone by focusing on treatment outcomes reported by patients. Before this, I worked for around 6 years in Noon Academy, an ed-tech company, building things from an early stage up to 12M student and 8 countries expansion, solving ever-changing product problems along the way.

I sometimes write about my learnings and experiences and dabble into personal projects, some of which you can find on Github.

In an earlier life, I've also worked in sales and marketing; interned at a national daily as a columnist; and worked as a digitiser of antique and vintage entertainment magazines.
